We intended to be in E-berg for Christmas but stayed in Yuma since its 10 degrees warmer down here.
I don't sleep well and sit up reading so I hate freezing temps in the wee hours.
We'll be in Q for RTR and followed in by a couple newbies we've hooked up with.

Seems that Brownsville, TX has great winter weather.     80+ degrees days and 65-70 degrees at night.

But it's terribly humid. As a friend recently wrote, leaving an air conditioned space is like walking into a wet gym sock.

Corpus Christi has been in the 70's, if you don't want to drive all the way down to Brownsville.

Also, Corpus Christi has free camping places scattered around.

Brownsville has none, according to free camping web sites
