Hey guys. I'm drivebyandy.<br /><br />I've done a few short stints living in my 1962 16ft trailer at seasonal jobs in Kansas and Iowa over the last year and a half. I always end up crawling back to my home state for some reason. I think because my trailer isn't setup for solar or anything and because I don't like the idea of towing on a daily basis. <br /><br />That being said I bought a van last January with the plans to convert it and be gone by the spring. I fell into an 'okay' job and situation so plans changed, but now I'm getting restless again. Last weekend I finally got it stripped down and put a subfloor down. Now I'm waiting until this weekend to work on it some more. <br /><br />Here it is:<br /><br /><img src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JrYOWowSq...600/5Id5Nf5H23G43M53N7bcq70e14fb897b11982.jpg" alt="" /><br /><br /><br />Oh yeah, quick question.. Is there some trick to using the forum that I haven't figured out yet? I can never get to anything but the first page of threads, or forums. Thanks.<br /><br />p.s. I tend to get self-conscious on forums/blogs/anything so I may very well disappear and lurk.

Hi Andy I to have a van to "fix up" not sure yet what I want to do so I am going to just deal with "Moby" until I know what I want to add/change.......glad to meet other fellow nomads....<br />~Autumn

Thanks for the welcomes! <br /><br />My van is also technically called 'Moby'. A nice family with a few disabled children owned it (it used to have a wheelchair lift) and the lady was telling me how the kids called it Moby. But names never really stick for me. I'd rather just call things "The Van" or "The Dodge" in the end. <img src="/images/boards/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">

My Mom named all her cars my Dad, he's like you the Dodge or ford...but when "Bertha" gave him issues starting one day, it was funny as hell to hear him call her Bertha the *****!

There is a glitch that needs fixing <strong>(MODERATORS, PLEASE!)</strong>on multiple page topics. I am having the same problem, and it's a recent problem.<br /><br />Bob

VT, I liked Iowa. Always have even when just driving through
