I'm trying to figure out if you turn on both the 12v and 120 AC switches on the Dometic control panel to use electric cooling, the 120 by itself does nothing. I know not to combine gas and electric, just not sure about the two electric switches.

What do you have it plugged into?

You might try going to the Dometic site and download a user's manual in PDF.

Or call their CS number.

I've got it plugged into the house, I think the AC alone is finally kicking in, just very slowly. I briefly had both AC and DC switches on but I believe that's a no-no. Thanks!

Hey Sean....Welcome to the forum...........(I spent 50 years in Orlando)

You have a RV 3-way refrigerator..........quite different than the OP'er with the cooler style 2-way

Does it work on Propane ?..........Remove the outside vents and CLEAN all the dust and cobwebs

Absorption fridge takes a long time to get cold ........here's a link

I have a Norcold N611. It took almost 48 hours to get to operating temp from totally off in ambient high temps in the 100s. I had started the AirCon and let that run to get the interior cool. I transferred chilled water bottles from a Whynter to the Norcold to help it along.
