We have camped on vacations in our Ford Econoline Van for years. But it was having mechanical problems and we wanted to get a new one that would last for our retirement. We had a conversion van made from a new Dodge Ram Promaster - the tallest and longest they make. In a twist of serendipity we discovered that our conversion van three part bench seat from Waldoch Conversion Vans in Minneapolis was perfect for the base of a queen size air bed mattress when two Igloo Cool Max 50  coolers were placed side by side  on one end of it. We set it up and went on a two week trip to Canada this summer and it worked wonderfully! We didn't have to build in anything, and already had the airbed from our old Econoline conversion. We measured and had Waldoch install the bench seat far enough from the back that a stack of Rubbermade storage boxes fit behind the bed, as  well as a couple of folding chairs. It makes camping so easy!

Congratulations on your new van. I went with a Promaster as well, though of the 136" WB length and am still in the process. I'm glad it's going so well for you though.
