A bus, cube van or step van that don't look like a commercial vehicle?
Just curious when you are parked sleeping in town or boondocking, looking out of place. How are the camp grounds with the rigs you are driving. I know the buses are a popular thing at the NASCAR races.

You shouldn't have any problems driving any of those rigs. Commercial vehicles have DOT numbers in plain view, private vehicles don't require them.
Campgrounds often don't want conversions, so plan on lots of boondocking as you travel.
There's lots of the big (Nascar type) buses that boondock in the desert during winter.

As for parking in town...depends on where you are and how "creative" you are.

We travel in the heavily wooded North country and not much travel in the south. Something about the north country that we just love. Camping in the the national campgrounds I don't think it would be much trouble, but when you get to the ones the "Jones" go to they may give ya some grief about your rig.
