I just became aware of these campers this week while looking at ExpeditionPortal.com .  You can reasonably purchase a camper or DIY with the plans they sell.

To me these are very interesting.

Interesting concept, but I have a feeling buying one now makes you the test mule. Concept drawings but no pictures of the different models makes me think they have only made one at this point.
 
Don't think they have made that many however the different youtube videos do show some variations other than the one mounted on the short bed F150. They seem to be revising the cabover framing and making it lighter.
 
It looks very much like wooden sailboat construction techniques, but turned upside down.
 
Very interesting. I've been looking at truck campers but am having a heck of a time finding a 3/4 ton truck. Probably don't want to buy one of the first ones but I will be keeping an eye on this.
 
I like the framing and it looks like it would really hold up plus you can go basic and customize.
