For those who have a partial denture or have a bridge. Or have had both. Which do you prefer? Have a choice right now. Partial denture for some missing teeth in front of molars (not molars), or can get a bridge built that is personage connected to some crowns. Crown-bridge costs $2000 out of pocket. Partial denture costs $500 out of pocket

I can only speak to my experience. I have a bridge that covers 4 teeth. The two in the middle are missing (pulled) and the two are on the edges are crowned and hold the whole thing in place. It is permanently installed. Not a denture that I can remove. I was apprehensive at first. But it t has given me no trouble in over 10+ years. I am careful to floss under it as instructed. It seems as strong as the other side of my mouth which has my "natural" teeth. It felt weird at first but now it seems normal.

This all happened in 2004. If this came up now I am not sure if I would opt for an implant (it would have been two implants) over the bridge. With the option of using Mexican dentists the cost of the implant might be similar to a the cost of a bridge from an American dentist

That's all I know. I hope that helps.

And on the topic of dentistry. I hope to have a passport by the time RTR happens so that I can go to Algodones. I am so very curious what that experience ( of Algodones) might be like.

Had one tooth out so I chose a three tooth bridge, 1st time 45 years ago. Had it replaced in Los Algodones 3 yrs. ago.
