Plus it has built-in GPS to track my navigation, a "G" sensor for sensing a shock or accident event, plus "Parking Mode" for surveillance security while vehicle is parked. I also ordered additional accessories so that the dash cam power will be hard-wired to the vehicle battery, plus additional Window Mount so I can take off the dash cam from the van and place into a different vehicle. Plus got a larger 32GB micro-SD memory card for longer video recording. The reason for a dash-cam is to help protect me against crazy drivers, and to also provide automatic surveillance video-taping while van is parked.

Midland CB Radio:
I figure a CB radio is a good thing to have while camping or travelling in remote locations or campgrounds whereby cellular signals will fail. I like this particular handheld CB for its multi power sources, including simple AA batteries, 12 volt power, and rechargeable battery too. I also ordered a larger antenna to install on the roof-top for longer range. I like the fact I can simply use this handheld CB while walking around if I wanted to, instead of being confined inside the vehicle. The reason for getting a CB radio is for emergency purpose if I need to call for help out in the boonies.

Motorola walkie talkie
I figure a 2-way walkie talkie is useful for all types of purposes. I got the 3 pack in case needed for an additional person. I like this particular unit because it seems compact enough to use, plus it has multi power sources including AAA batteries and rechargeable battery. I learned the hard way that cell phone signal is pretty much next to nothing while at a campsite in the mountains. So a 2-way walkie talkie should prove useful to keep in touch with others.
