Well took my minivan and cleaned it out and made it more comfy, got the bed behind the driver seat to the back end. It was comfortable...slept in it last night. Tho the road seemed normal when i parked, the slight banking of it toward the curb had me rolling out of bed last night dang it I'd like to put the bed on the passenger side, so i have no where to go but against the wall but my driver side slider no longer works and don't want the bed right where i enter. I was planning on making a platform with storage under in the future when i get a real van but maybe i should reconsider

Good news is my sister came over to ask me a favor and told me she couldnt tell at all someone was sleeping in there. Muaa.

Been there. If you put your mattress on a plywood base, when you are parked in an unlevel area, you can just tuck a couple of little wood blocks (three 2x4's, 3 inches long) under the plywood base. Little wood blocks take up very little room in the van, but are invaluable when you need them. They can also be used outside to level tables, chairs, etc.

I solved that problem by welding in a futon frame with springs... Ya settle in and are always level up to a point, that's when ya blame yourself for parking on a hillside...
