Hey there, here is a song for you.  I posted in that other spot but you were only going to get the one song over there.  This is more like a playlist, starting in the 70's. The first song has a lot of questions in it.  Feel free to comment on any of the questions that interest you.   ~crofter

Since no one is commenting, I'll be first to comment.

Q: What is that sound played after the lyric "still you turn  me on? Is it the Wah Wah pedal or the Moog?

I am unable to answer this question, but my money is on the Moog.

I have never played a Moog, have you? The first time I ever saw a Wah Wah pedal this guy had invited me over to his place. And there is his guitar, just sitting there so I picked it up and started playing it, and the pedal was on so I tried that too - I was in Heaven!! Awesome. What fun!     ~crofter

What does it mean??
Mala iz kraja writes about the meaning of the song, you may find something else.
"Lake's singing about his rock and roll lifestyle, having to hide/disguise himself in public and how the audience shouldn't want his lifestyle. Every day on the road make him more more depressed (sadder) and more crazy (madder), he jokes "get me a ladder" (so I can hang myself). He's asking them "so you want to be a singer, songwriter, poet, musician, hang out with me, be my girlfriend, be on magazine covers, i.e. live my life?" "Let me tell you something, It just don't mean a thing".But... he keeps doing it because the "high" he gets from playing in front of the live audience keeps him going; i.e. "Still, you turn me on." "YOU" is his audience..."   post number 1.    ~crofter

"From The Beginning"

There might have been things I missed
But don't be unkind
It don't mean I'm blind
Perhaps there's a thing or two

I think of lying in bed
I shouldn't have said
But there it is

You see it's all clear
You were meant to be here
From the beginning

Maybe I might have changed
And not been so cruel
Not been such a fool
Whatever was done is done
I just can't recall
It doesn't matter at all

You see it's all clear
You were meant to be here
From the beginning

You sure are torturing that Great Dane with endless ELP. I'll bet I can guess how it feels about now, jk. But that might be #1 on my own music thread, lol.

In answer to question number three, YES playing the electric guitar was magic, and loud.     ~crofter

Makes me sigh, saw this guitarist in a falling down theater from the nosebleed seats.     ~crofter

I got out the headphones for better sound and less doggy stress. Awesome Allman.    ~crofter
Ahhh, earphones. Happy dog. They can hear to 40 KHz, after all. Too much treble probably hurts their ears. And that's why I like heavy thumping base. "On the internet nobody knows you're a dog".
