Is the Corona virus a punishment sent by god to a sinful world?I have seen numerous preachers in the last few days who say it is God's wrath upon a sinful world.Of course it's not them who are sinful,it's the other people who don't believe as they do.I love me some good old "adjustable" southern religion.

The pale horseman rides (revelation 6:8) unleashing the power of microscopic pestilence.

I don't follow the negative path, it leads to no place I want to go. Too bad when some try to blame misfortune on someone different than one self. I have heard this pandemic blamed on many groups and the official efforts to respond get critiqued also. Too bad.

Much needs to be done to help those suffering, starting with staying positive and looking for solutions.  In my house solutions involve maddening amount of at home time, internet solutions to shortages, a lot of cleaning.

Everyone who is staying home (includes camping at a distance), and cleaning is a life saving hero IMHO.

If I could dream a possible cure it would be a 3 day heads up to get what you need followed by a 14 day mandatory shelter in place. Emergency vehicles and personnel only. Military distributing supplies via drive thru locations. Days to get supplies for individuals/families will be scheduled. Otherwise a complete shut down.

.... I hate it but I would be willing to isolate for 14 days to stop the virus in its tracks.

Nothing else is working... it’s spreading like crazy. People don’t know they have it. To me it’s a sacrifice that we must make. It’s just 14 days to safe thousands of lives and hundreds of thousands from suffering. The symptoms alone are horrible from what people are reporting.

If you every shared anything in social media in any kind of way....please share this idea.

I can tell you that it will be much longer than 14 days. That deadline has already come and is nearly gone in some areas. Then they extend it for another 14 days, over and over until the threat is actually gone.

The government authorities at the Federal, States and local community level have known this all along. But to prevent even more hoarding and to make it an easier pill to swallow they say 14 days knowing most people can wrap their heads around doing it for that long.

The number of days really isn’t important for me.... I’m at 21 right now. I’ve only been beyond my own property twice because I had no choice. For me I don’t need an order from the government to do what is common sense.

It won't be over anytime soon.

New York is so bad there is real talk of a lock down on travel in and out of the state.

Wuhan was in lockdown for 2 months. 8 weeks. And they know what word lockdown means.

I think stay at home instructions will continue for a month or more, maybe May or June, until there is a defined period of time with no new cases.

We need to dig in for the long haul.

Could be much longer than this. We should plan on having some rice and beans on hand just in case (my survivalist mind always focuses on my next meal and how full the feed box is).   -crofter
