Correctly charging batteries and solar for a newbie

RE,  mounting panels on the side of vehicles.

I don't know where you are planning on going,  but where I go desert pin stripping is a part of life.  I would have the panels ripped right off the side of my vehicle.

Thanks for the reply. I'm interested in the BLM areas. Laying over at a Wal-mart, Lowes, or Home Depot here and there. Will be in a higher up vehicle, still deciding on a step van or a skoolie.
