Hi, Everybody, and happy Sunday.
Correcting the intent of the thread I posted a while back, WHERE ARE YOU, what I meant was where were you when you took that great photo? What part (n,e,s,w) of what state, near what town? Where is that museum you said was so wonderful? What part (n,e,s,w) of what state, near what town? Where is that campground you just named? What part (n,e,s,w) of what state, near what town?
SO, I really hope I don't mess up here:
This is a watercolor study done on 90 lb paper 4.5 x 6"
Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel at Holy Trinity Monastery in St David, southeast Arizona, 9 miles south of Benson. Noon Thursday, April 13, 2017. I got too heavy on the tree shadows, and will make several changes next time. Done plein aire. (MY hobby on the road. .
For anyone interested in such things, it is no longer a monastery. The catholic diocese took it over and may make it a retreat place. Nobody I talked to knows when that will happen, if that will happen, or if it will still be open to the public. I do hope so. I like going there. If you have the opportunity, it is a peaceful place to visit. Right now they have an rv park, don't know how much longer they will.
