Am browsing the price difference between a used Chevy 2500 versus a used 3500 van.  Just wow!!

Am seeing 3500 in the $10,000 range and a few here and there.  But then I look at the Chevy 2500 and find its more like $20,000 cost for used.

What is the deal with the price difference?  Is there something inherently wrong with the 3500 models?  Is it that they are expected to have been used to tow heavy trailers, so they might not be in good condition?

My guess would be that if you don't need to haul loads it's not going to be as economical to drive around as a 2500. And it prob rides like a truck empty. All the things I look for in a rig, but then I live in them w/ a permanent weight load, . . . and I really like dragging trailers around. ;)

But like I said, Just guessing.

I'm guessing just chance, on ebay or here locally they are the same price which has historically been true.
