Walmart has the Champion Inverter 3100 Watt w/remote start for $715.00 if anyone is in the market. $185.00 drop in price.

Wow, that's a heck of a price on a inverter generator with remote big enough to run a 15000 BTU A/C. I would have snagged one before I had my A/C removed.

Looking, I understand it now. They have the 3100w/ 3400w peak dual fuel with paralleling available for $875.

Almost a price war. I think I'll go with Walmart just because they are easier to find. Should run my AC okay.

Home Depot gives vets 10% discount.  In Texas that covers sales tax.

Closeanuf, I called Home Depot and they don't honor a Military discount online and it goes off sale there tomorrow. Walmart on the other hand is keeping that price.

The Home Depot guy had many more important things to do than talk about an online order. I knew there was a reason I didn't like Home Depot, and he reminded me.
