Morning to anyone who ventures into this thread.
I keep reading about everyone's ventures, van conversions and joys!
Sooo, thought it was time I contributed about our van. Hopefully this
thread will cause me to be more accountable. It is so easy to remain in
the background, but I am going to make a concerted effort.
We have done a lot to this van since we got it in 2013. And it seems we are still
tweeking it here and there.

I would like to tell you about our van, and include pictures.
We love this van. Gas engine gets about 17 miles per gallon.
This is a combination of town and highway. I drive 55 most of the
time as I want to get the best gas mileage. Plus, when everyone
else is driving faster (the speed limit, I am sure) I am left all alone
and can really enjoy the drive!

Cargi is a high top van, so the wind hits her broadside on really windy
days. I just slow down a bit, and she does great!! When a "big rig" passes
you can feel the drag hit you as wants to move your vehicle around a bit.
I think everyone has felt this, even on automobiles.
We added Air-Tabs http://buyairtab.com/product-category/individual-airtabs/
Now, unless I see the truck approaching in my mirrors, I don't even feel
the "big rig" passing, then I see him next to me.

We added the Rain Guards on our front windows. This was another great investment.
Good source of ventilation when parked somewhere. Turn the
fantastic fan (generic term) on in the back and in comes outside air.
Pete designed a screen we can insert in the window that is narrow so we can
have the windows open at night and not get bugs. With the rain guards this
works great. No rain, no bugs.
He also designed a screen we can put in the windows when we want them
all the way rolled down.

Well, this is a start... Now to get more pictures.
