You're fine, Gunny. It's not like you derailed the thread or anything. You related to the topic and personalized it. Nothing wrong with that. Heck, there's a time for strict compliance, and there's a time for a more relaxed family/tribe 'vibe' in conversation. If you ask me, this is one of those tribe-vibes sleep well!

Not selfish of you at all.  I started the thread, and found your input to be quite relevant.  And I appreciate your service, Gunny.  And I wish you well... I have many friends that have returned from hell.  Down at Fort Carson, they make a big deal of the returning soldiers ... and the news reports ALWAYS show it.  It would be even better if that extended to moving back to civilian life, for the REST of your life.
