PS: I suppose I could marry her. What's another husband in her long list of ex-spouses? LOL (I think she's up to 5 now)

People who marry Canadian citizens are eligeible for Canadian citizenship. My sister wanted to join the US army. That's when the army discovered that through some administrative "snafu" someone in Quebec lost her paperwork for the US government. She was listed as only a "Canadian" citizen. We resolved the issue of her as a US citizen. As a result of this screwup she now maintains "dual-citizenship."

All it took was some bureaucrat in Quebec, Canada to lose or misplace a file with my sisters information to get it all the same.

Unfortunately people tend to get sidetracked here, as have I at times. Sorry, Hope something here helped.

Absolutely true Sid and I seem to have...whoops and sorry to the OP...I'll try to keep on topic better....spank, spank, AND off to the corner...

Well said...lol.
Bri

i spent a few weeks during last winter along the California/Mexico border. it was 90% Canucks who were camped there. many had been coming for years. i don't think there's an issue with it. they all told me about the great deals in Mexico on dental and vision services, so even going into Mexico is not a problem for them.

Ay? Candians? What are they but northern Americans!
Rae

Despite what you may think, not everyone here in the USA, to use your terms, is "armed to the teeth." That's an unfortunate misconception that the mainsteam media likes to unjustly spread. Nothing could be further from the truth. The vast majority of the people in the states are just "regular" people.

No offense intended, the primary reason for the difference in the number of guns in Canada is her restrictive gun laws. That's the way the Canadian government prefers it. I allow Canada the right to enact what laws they feel is best for it's citizens. It's not my place to second guess their intentions.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Amen, pikachu. Get's mighty tiresome hearing that same old left-wing drivel.

No i definately hear you. The laws just got changed in regards to gun ownership in Canada. Bill c-68 was squashed in the federal courts recently. basically the bill stated that all firearms needed to be registered.

I have relatives in the usa and yes they are just regular type people
ooh and some canadians ARE armed to the teeth... lol

My Canadian friend in the States is armed to the teeth. She has 3 rifles and a shotgun. I told her she's been living in the US too long.
