Just throwing this out there, when I was in the service driving these ambulances I always said they would make a great camping vehicle.  

This is an ex Canadian Forces Ambulance that was based on the USA M1010 vehicle.

I bought this one on May 2014 and just sold it this Oct 2017.

I still love the concept but when it came to fuel cost it was way to expensive to do year round road moves with it, when you only got 300km to the tank on diesel.

Had no plans to rip out the stretcher setup and put in an rv, was just going to build a rack system on passenger side (lower) to put my stowage tots there stop them from rolling around in the back.

My expedition gives me 700km on gas so if I don’t come up with an rv by next May/June 2018 looks like the expedition is it lol.

I hope you got a good price. I could have parted that out for at least 4k. the front and rear axles go for 2k minimum 3k if you hold out for the right buyer. highdesertranger

Sold it to a Military Preservation group in Edmonton Alberta, didn’t get what I wanted but got more than i paid for it
