So my plan is to get a job at Amazon this coming fall. I plan on being at the RTR but I may have to do some things in San Diego the day the Big tent opens. My question is how important is it to interview in person for Amazon or would I be fine applying online? And if I do interview how soon do you know you have the job?

Getting a job with Amazon camperforce is a long process. The good news is they assign you to an HR persona nad usually they guide you through it really well! You can email and ask questions of a real person! At the Big Tent your name will be turned over to the HR person in charge over you who will contat you.

My father and I both worked this past season at Amazon in Campbellsville, KY. Neither of us interviewed in person. The first time we met someone from Amazon was our first day on the job. So really, not important at all. It does take months to get officially hired though

Ok thanks for the insights. I watched Bob's video about them again and forgot about the diploma thing. So I have my mom sending it to me. I'll just apply online then because I need to take care of things in SD before I have to be in Vegas for a month. Just trying to figure out when to get to the RTR next week it's going to depend on the swell forecast I guess.
