that's not totally true. for instance in Arizona you can register almost anything street legal and they will issue you a license plate. but if go to another state the will not recognize it as street legal. highdesertranger

Didn't know we were talking about ATV's. If you have an RV that weighs over 26,000 lbs and your state does not require a special licence, you can drive it in Texas even though they require THEIR RESIDENTS to have a special licence.

This is not a new idea. I wish I knew what year this was, but this is a family photo that shows I come from a long line of nomads. Built on a Model T frame.

wow bseek that is so cool. I would dig into that history a little. highdesertranger

B Seek,  Ditto on what HDR said.  I would guess that pic is from the late 1920s to maybe mid /early 1930's.  I was adopted and raised by my Grandparents who were born in 1900 in Woodlawn AL and 1902 Wewoka OK.  Two uncles on Mama's side were part of the migration to CA from OK during the dust bowl and Great Depression days.  Have you looked on the TIN LIZZY  websight?  I love those old cars and trucks and what they called housecars.  Grapes of Wrath movie reminds me of family.  My Great Granma was born in the late 1800s somewhere I have her wedding license stating "Oklahoma Indian Territory".  That picture is a bit of history for sure.                                       TJB
