So when you get tired of living the van lifestyle. You might need a break for a couple days. Check out www.airbnb.com to find a nice $50 per night place. Think these are better than the fleabag motels at the same price. Always have highspeed internet. Always have a great shower and a quiet room. Locations are interesting.

When the wife & I went to Maui last winter, we used Airbnb almost eclusively for our accomodations there.

Spent the entire first week at the home of a professional big-wave surfer, then went out to Hana and rented full camping gear (tent, sleeping bags w/ pads, cooler, & camp chairs).

Then, we spent 2 nights at a nice condo with the balcony overlooking the ocean, but then back to yet another private home owned by a wonderful gal.

So other then the 2 nights at the condo, we spent every night on our 2 week trip on Maui in places we found through Airbnb.

They have locations just about anywhere you'd wanna visit!!

Highly reccommended!!

Though now this:
"Guests and hosts can scan a government ID and connect other online profiles to their Airbnb account."
I think it's required. So my invited guests will have to camp too.

I often work in places too hot to stay in my van and use Airbnb most of the time. My experiences have been almost entirely positive which I cannot say for motels.
