Magnolia Beach, 5 miles from Indianola Marina.

I did a lot of metal detecting in Indianola. Found a bunch of old silver coins by the salt cedars. Coins use to wash out of the bank by the water... This was back in the 1990s.

Dennis...yes, a bit more crowded than I like.

GoJo...Cool !!! I’ve been thinking a long time about maybe giving metal detection a try.

We took a ferry ride (free) from Port Aransas to Aransas Pass Tx.

Trivia: Wrinkles has been at a Bernowski front door since the 1930s.  He has yet to fall over during our travels.

Going to fish the Port Aransas seawall today and while the sun charges the batteries.  300 watts solar panels, 300 amp hour battery bank.  It’s 2 systems for redundancy, 200 and 100.  Life is good.

The girls turn 10, 70 of their years, on Sunday so we did some birthday shopping today.  They got a wagon. :)  They will now have the security of their kennel/blanket and not have to be tethered having more/better access to some of the places we go.  It collapses and stores great and they immediately go back to napping once we get done moving.

Thanks Bob.  Port Aransas and Rockport are the only places that makes me homesick for the ocean.  Looks like not a lot of damage from the hurricane.

Sorry to say, I saw lots of damage; Port Aransas, Aransas Pass and Rockport. Lots of businesses still closed as they rebuild.

Another beautimous day on the Texas Gulf Coast.

Take your trash out with you please.  Those that don’t are causing closures to some great bankfishing  access and free camping spots.  Filled this garbage  bag cleaning up the spot I’m now at.  By the stuff I picked up I can tell it was left by several people over a period of time.  Don’t ruin future access and use.  LOL, rant done.
