Went out to the beach today to see if anyone had showed up for the week long Travel Fest.  There were a few there but with 25 mph winds and 36f temps I didn't stay long.  Wind supposed to get worse overnight.  Told them I'd return Monday when the the temps are back in the 70's and the wind dies down.  Waves were too close to vehicles for my liking and ocean spray and sand were coating everything.

Went straight to a car wash washed all that corrosion causing stuff off.  Back in the protection of the inland waterway now ?.  With high tide still to come and wind projected to pickup, I just didn't want to chance it.  I've gone wimpy I guess.

Only took 3 hours to recharge 200 ah of batteries.  Love it when something works the way it's supposed too.  Big thanks to members of this forum from this humble solar illiterate :)

Ain't solar wonderful. I have hook ups for the weekend still and while water and sewer is nice, I see no reason to take the bank off of solar.

Nothing yet but....did see some dolphins/ porpoises come through :)

Yes, Corpus Christi, think I'm going stay awhile.  Have mail coming in Tuesday and an appointment to get oil changed.  Great weather for the next 2 weeks is forecast, not to mention great free camping and fishing.
