The adventure begins - lol!<br><br>Enjoy working on it. Our '95 has about 51000 miles on it, and it's doing well, and it carries a lot of weight. So, I think the Ford will do well for you. <br><br>Couldn't think of a shorter name? *grin*<br><br>

Couple of interior pics. &nbsp;The floor pad has never been removed. Awesome condition no holes and only 2 rust spots that appear to be where a&nbsp;heavy&nbsp;load stressed the&nbsp;axle&nbsp;mounts?<div><br></div><div>I have a question for the group. I planned on building a bulk head to&nbsp;separate&nbsp;the driving compartment from the cargo area. To conserve heat and to protect the people the cabin case of accident. &nbsp;I notice however that my seat belts seem to be mounted WAY FAR back. I've looked at other vans and the seem &nbsp;to be mounted right behind the seats.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Can I move these forward and if I did will I be compromising&nbsp;safety /&nbsp;functionality&nbsp;of the seat belts?</div>

Rust spots are probably because the heat from the welds beneath the floor weakened the metal, and they look like low spots where moisture accumulates. That's one possibility. I wouldn't mess with the seat belts, personally. Just me.

I was in 100 degree temps with a white van this past summer. Would not want to be in a black van, even in North Dakota in the summer. Nice that you can insulate any way you want. Someone on this site has a bulkhead in the back to give space for an airconditioner and portable generator to operate with the doors closed. <br>Good Luck!<br>
