Just saying hello to everyone. I hope everyone is having a good day. I will become a nomad / van dweller in less than 6 months. I am disabled, only have one family member, and I am seeking a new way of doing things. I spend over 60% of my income on rent each month. For a one bedroom apartment. And it's the cheapest in town! As a future nomad I will need to stay within a few hundred miles of a regular doctor. Does anyone have any suggestion for which state, has a lot of BLM land, and a warm/hot climate? I was thinking Arizona, but I don't know if it gets unbearable hot in summer. Thanks for reading.

Welcome Rebel to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

in the lower elevations Arizona gets way hot in the summer. but Arizona also has some fairly high elevations so it makes for an excellent choice.
