I just invested in 2 x 230 amp hour 6 volt Crown Batteries and shopping for a good watering system in my forgetful state as of late recommendations welcome.

This is the one I have in my motorcycle trailer to keep the trailer battery topped off: https://www.amazon.com/Flow-Rite-MP...73&sr=8-4&keywords=rv+battery+watering+system

and this: https://www.amazon.com/Flow-Rite-RV...DMD41ERJYW5&psc=1&refRID=BJ1S0P7Q0DMD41ERJYW5 to put the water in.

Keep squeezing the pump bulb until it won't squeeze. Just connect one end to the fill system and the other end is immersed in the distilled water bottle.

I am seriously considering one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Fill...9&sr=8-15&keywords=rv+battery+watering+system so I don't have to go out and give the bulb a few squeeses each month. Just opening the door to check the water level in the tank. I like easy and simple.

If you want to really keep an eye on each battery cell and manually filling, one of these should work well: https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Wate...09&sr=8-8&keywords=rv+battery+watering+system with this: https://www.amazon.com/EzBatteryche...MHM8X6C0H9A&psc=1&refRID=HF3K9H9DZMHM8X6C0H9A These caps are for press fit caps. They also make them for twist-loc caps.

Whatever you have to pay, I'd say it's worth it. Mine including the pump was $112.00 from Discount Solar in Quartzsite.

I finally got around to putting a battery watering system on my 4 Trojan T105REs and I should have done it when I first got them. It is so easy to use that I kick myself regularly for not putting it in place sooner.

It used to take an hour and two people to pull the batteries, water them and put them back in place. Needless to say it didn't get done as often as it should have. Now it's a 5 minute job and I don't have to move anything including the stuff that is between the batteries and me.

This is what I use as well, excellent system, and not bad on price. My batteries are tucked up between the body and frame rail on my E-150. Absolutely no way to water them without this.

I check the water level in my 14 batteries every month.I use a turkey baster.

With a battery watering system how do the batteries outgas and where does it vent?

in my situation the alaskan camper people allow you to put the batteries on the actual truck bed vis a removable panel so the batteries are always exposed to constant air flow
