Usually they are related to searches I'm made previously, but in the last couple of days I've seen ads for luxury resorts in Dubai, and fancy cruise ship ads.  Cuz, you know, VanDwellers are all about super high end exotic vacations!   :p

Just got one for Lexus, man their algorithms must be screwed up.

I went on a cruise once. Got stuck on a sand bar between Portsmouth Harbor and the Piscataqua River. Had to use our oars to push off the sand bar...

New question:

Some of the banner ads are like little movies now, can this be what's eating up my data?  It's been crazy the last few days.

Go into your User CP, and you can turn off videos. Might save your data.

I see an option to show videos in posts, but not one to turn off videos entirely, am I missing something? I often do

When I think of cruises, I think of my friend who went on a cruise with some other friends last year. She had an attack of some kind, the ship infirmary doctor sedated her and intubated her, and the ship stopped at some port in Guatemala where they offloaded (dumped) her. Someone transported her inland to a medical place where no one spoke English. They gave her paper/pen on a clipboard but she was shaking so bad she couldn't write. They left the tube in, and also sedated her... for two weeks. Whenever she regained consciousness, all she could think was, "Doug will find me, Doug will find me".

I'll camp in a van on public land, thank you very much. I don't have a Doug who will track me down, contact an air medical service ($25,000 cash deposit required), and meet me at the local hospital when I get home.

You see? Being poor does have advantages.

Tried that and it doesn't seem to work on the ads.  But thanks.

I have a banner right now pitching luxury RV pads for $119,000 + park fees, no doubt, in a very upscale park 'Superstition Views'. I wonder how my 6x10 trailer would look alongside the $250,000 Class A's (if I had 119 grand to blow, of course) Wait, I just clicked the banned - each RV pad includes a 600sq foot adjoining little 'casita'

They wouldn't let you in. Really. Your rig has to be a minimum length and not very old.

You could pretend you're part of the maintenance crew?

I had a banner ad for a dating site when I was on my phone. They must be grabbing at straws with all the ad blockers I'm using on my craptop.

Used to love the "Christian Singles" ads, I have zero interest in religion or men, they shot very wide on that one.
