Hello folks,

I recently discovered this site and have been enjoying it mucho.  It seems the urge to become mobile and enjoy the people and views in the boonies of the great southwest us is tugging at my sleeve, or cuff or something.

I have a home which I am reluctant to get rid of at the moment, so I have been thinking about renting out a room to help offset the mortgage requirement and also to have someone keeping an eye on things.  I have a toy hauler trailer which I could sell to help fund the van acquisition.  

So yes, it is an interesting idea and I would like to know if there are any people of the vagabond variety in my area, (passing thru or dwelling) I could meet up with and talk about this adventure, I would enjoy seeing their rigs first hand.
