Average MPG in your Van

Curious of what you folks are getting miles per gallon in your vans when traveling and being pretty well loaded up.

88 Coachmen Hi top on a G20 chassis. 305 or 350 engine. VIN # says 305. Note in owners manual says 350. My fuel mileage for 2013 was 12 MPG. Most driving in the 55 to 60 MPH range.

I have a Ford E-150 with a six banger. I've averaged about 17 when mostly highway miles, 15 when purely city driving. I'm kinda surprised it isn't better than that. I don't drive with the emergency brake on THAT much!

2001 E350xl bubbletop 7.3 diesel loaded about 18mpg towing a tt and loaded about 16mpg. driving to Nevada tomorrow 1/2 loaded I will update.

I am always fully loaded up since I'm full-time.

Towing = 10-12mpg (depending on weight towed)
55 mph on highway = 13-15mpg (depending on elevation)
Yearly average with combined driving = 12.6 - 12.8 mpg over 12-14,000 miles per year.
That is roughly 27c per mile

I've got to check the mileage on the van. I know we've about doubled what the RV was giving us.
I filled the tank in Flagstaff and cruised 360 miles to Madrid, NM and it was was just below the full mark when we arrived. I thought the gauge was stuck, but driving this week has proved its moving. Next trip to Santa Fe I'll top up and see what we have.
