I kinda have my mind made up on which van I am going to get and start my van life. A 2003 awd astro van( hopefully I can get it.) Either way if I cant I still love the astro.im looking for anyone that has one that can give me some pointer on build idea.

I like the idea of a 6.5'x4' bed that can be folded in half to make a day couch with storage underneath.

You could cover a 6" thick piece of foam with fabric that covers two 24" wide sections 6'6" long.

A friend has one, bed on the drivers side and the rest on the passenger side.

looks a bit complicated to build.  I would buy one finished if available.
