Artists..lighting?

I like to sketch sometimes and i decided i wanted to try to do more, to pass the time in the van. I have a little coleman light but it is woefully insufficient for drawing. Anyone have any ideas on how to see what I'm drawing in a windowless van?

easy...get a good Headlamp.

I never travel without one.

Well my coleman minilamp is led, got a specific one?

Hmmmm...i didn't consider a headlamp...seems strange but may work.

I AM a professional artist, and I don't go anywhere without my drawing pad. I often sit by the campfire sketching my latest invention, a new way to modify one of my rigs, or ideas for a new painting...often based on things I did that day.

My wife uses her's to read by.

the light goes right where you're working/looking, without disturbing anoyone else.

(...of course, I already AM disturbed....but that's a whole separate issue!)
