I ordered this product from Amazon for about $30.00. I believe this spongy thing is normally used to help kids for swimming, or simply used as a toy in the swimming pool.

AquaJogger Sqoodle 3"x 64" size
http://www.amazon.com/Aquajogger-Sq...sr=8-2&keywords=AquaJogger+Sqoodle+-+Blue

I'm planning on using this to place vertically on the far right of the bed between the mattress and bed frame. This will raise the right side of the bed by 3". This same product also comes in a couple other sizes of thickness.

My bed is placed vertically whereby the headboard is at the rear of the van doors, and the other end of the bed is up against the back of the front seats. Sometimes when I park the van on a city street, the entire van leans to the right because the road (curb) is designed that way, presumably so that rainwater will drain into the sewer I'm guessing. But this also means when I'm sleeping in the bed, my body feels like rolling off the bed to the right side where the van is tilted.

I only did a "dry run" test to see if this might work, but haven't had a chance to really try it out yet for a night's sleep. Is anyone else doing something similar to solve the problem of that falling out of bed feeling when parked at an angle?

I know there is another member on this forum who I've communicated with that uses a special hydraulic system to raise and lower a side of the van to resolve this leaning problem, but I'm hoping this is a simple solution that might work.

Casey

Product Description

AquaJogger Square Design Sqoodle The noodle workout is the latest rage in water fitness, and AquaJogger takes it to the next level with the Sqoodle trade; (square noodle) . i don't know how your bed is constructed, but what if you put wedges under the legs? Or used bottle jacks for legs?

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I don't think that will work because I don't believe it will be stable enough having things underneath the bed frame legs. Plus it would be too much of a task trying to place items under the legs and having to remove them afterwards. I don't have much room in the van to maneuver around, especially since it's a low top van, and I have stuff all around the bed.

I understand wanting to keep things simple. I think the spoodle should help.

If it's not enough support, maybe you could roll up your dirty laundry in plastic bags.

Then I would be sleeping on uneven mounds which would present another different problem, haha! :)
