App to Mark Where All You Want To Go?

Is there an app (android) or website that you can save all the places in the states you want to go. Example, someone names a place and you want to go to that place in the near future. You could save that place onto google maps along with all the other places you want to go. Then you could see a list of all the places you want to go and start mapping it out making sure you don't leave out a place someone may have told you about a month ago.

I use the pocket earth app. I can mark my current location and add notes to it. I can mark locations with a different icon. For example, overnights are marked with a house symbol. Nice hikes are marked with a foot symbol. Etc.

I don't know that pocket earth is the best. It's just what I use.

I find a place on Google Maps, label it and save it. It puts a star on the map. I may wind up with too many stars...
