Anyone use a compact 12V vacuum cleaner?

The best 12V units are Dyson but too pricey for me.

I do my big unpack/cleanups while the genny's running, nothing beats a ShopVac.

Or more often just use the free vacuums at car washes.

Around here the vacuums at the car wash aren't free.  You have to keep feeding quarters into the slot or it turns off in the middle of your work.
Personally I find it annoying and a bit stressful that I have to rush to get it done.

As for the Bissell Lift Off, that's way too big to fit in my tiny Transit Connect.  I'm looking for the smallest thing I can find so I don't wipe out too much valuable storage space.

I, like a few others who've posted use a battery operated vac.
Mine is a Ryobi. It's got good suction, gets into tight(ish) spaces and uses the same 18v batteries as my saws, drill and fan. You can also get a 12v charger base to charge batts on the go.

I tried doing some brisket once with my Red Devil , but it came out a little gritty, and overall just sucked.

Sorry...couldn't resist.   :p

I missed this thread. I use a DeWalt 18v vacuum. I was impressed with how hard it sucks, sorry couldn't resist. and yes I have the 12v charger for my DeWalt stuff. highdesertranger
