More specifically, are there any of our vandweller mechanic types still around? I need my front brakes done and a rotor replaced. Preferably someone that won't mind letting me help so I know how to do it myself next time. :) I have the parts already and cash to pay.  You can message me here, my phone is dead and the replacement won't be in until tomorrow or wednesday. I'll check my messages when I get out of work.

Also an fyi: the Scratch n Dent at Tyson Wells will be closing on the 14th. On the 12th and 13th everything will be half price. Good opportunity to stock up on some canned goods.

Okay, I have a different reason for asking. I'm in Wickenburg now with the Twinkie Hotel at a friend's house installing shelves, changing a noisy fan clutch and trying to make room to haul the stuff I left here on my outbound trip.

I've had a lot of fun over the past couple months and about 11,000 miles but beginning to run short on time. I still need to go back to California to replace a set of shower doors for my sister, then roar north to Spokane for one of my oldest and bestest buddy's birthday on St. Patricks day. After that I gotta beat feet back to Alaska and get busy with all the projects that have been put on hold while I've been goofing off all over the country.

Anyway, I hope to get away from here Thursday afternoon sometime and if there are any hangers about still in the Ehrenberg /Quartzsite area I was thinking about overnighting there and meeting some of you folks in the morning before I continue westward. If everyone is gone or I run out of time, I recon it will have to wait until next year. Gene
