I am looking for 2 good 6 volt batteries and have read on here that costco may be the place to buy them I can not find them on costco's online website. anyone been to costco and seen prices lately? thanks

You might want to call to find out. The reason being is my local Costco told me they didn't carry them, meanwhile I found a local vendor who sold the Trojan T-105's for $105 per.

Whaaaaat $105! that's a really good price. (I think)

Truth is.. I have only seen one price on amazon and that was like $265 for one.

Actually never thought of calling?? why I don't know? I guess I was thinking membership prices.

thanks

good call sl1966. called costco nearest me and they do not even carry golf cart batteries.

What would I be searching for to find a "local vendor"? Are they at RV places? thanks

I called my local sams club, and they sell deka batteries that are rebranded as duracell for 81 plus core charge. They seem to have similar stats as the trojans. I couldn't find any trojan dealer near me, even tho trojan listed some a few hours away they didnt carry them when i called so be sure to always call ahead.

Here is the link, but you have to call to see if they have it at your store.

http://www.samsclub.com/sams/duracell-golf-car-battery-group-size-gc2/prod3590228.ip?navAction=#desc

I found the local vendor through the vendor locator on the Trojan website.

I called the guy today and they're still $105 per. My first call was almost two years ago.

I found this battery at a West Marine the other day. 6V 400ah battery. 2 of them together is about the size of an 8D battery. 400ah in the sizing of 8D is pretty awesome, but they are almost $600/ea. This girl would have to save a LOT of pennies before anything like that would be attainable, but 400ah would be super nice to have!

They are made my MASTERVOLT mfg part #: 61004000, I have no idea of the Mastervolt brand, and if they are any good.

If anyone wants to buy me a pair, I'll happily test them out for you! LOL

With Love,
Tara
