Hey fellow ops, maybe we should consider an SSB "CRVL Net" on 40 meters. Start with once a week to see if there is any interest to support this activity; then go from there?

Just a thought . . .

That's a great idea Speed......
I don't have my antenna up yet.
It's an end-fed multi band from a fellow in Australia.
I built a pneumatic line shooter to get up in the trees.
This thing is safe and a lot of fun.
Do they have moderators on the nets?

I'd be up for that. My antenna is hanging low right now but it tunes up fine. I'll fix it in the spring. (I need Bowlmaker's line shooter!)

We don't necessarily need a mod/net control. But if we want one, we can do that. I'm thinking it would be a really laid back net regardless.

Wont work without a moderator to keep us all from squabbling... :p

No reason to squabble.  You use your Zippo.
I'll use my Dunhill.

Heck.......it's more fun than the radio !
What a way to get a bunch of lines up over a tree and string Christmas lights.
Remember.......UP and OVER !
Oh......were we talking about radio ?
