Hey fellow ops, maybe we should consider an SSB "CRVL Net" on 40 meters. Start with once a week to see if there is any interest to support this activity; then go from there?

That's a great idea Speed......
I don't have my antenna up yet.
It's an end-fed multi band from a fellow in Australia.
I built a pneumatic line shooter to get up in the trees.
This thing is safe and a lot of fun.
Do they have moderators on the nets?

Lots more of them out there....its a great combination: Ham radio and RV, or any mobile really. 

I ran hamsticks and a Kenwood TS-50 in my RV back in the day...talked all over the place!

I'd be up for that. My antenna is hanging low right now but it tunes up fine. I'll fix it in the spring. (I need Bowlmaker's line shooter!)

We don't necessarily need a mod/net control. But if we want one, we can do that. I'm thinking it would be a really laid back net regardless.

What a way to get a bunch of lines up over a tree and string Christmas lights.
