just want to list some ideas. and get feedback about what has been tried and did not work.

1). park at a construction site. with permission. could be at a project house fir a month. like HABITAT FOR HUMANITY. or some other project.

2). park as a maintenance person or guard at a recreational park area.

3). house or property caretaker think there are caretakers for houses all over the place. you just become a bonded caretaker so no worries about theft from you.

4). find some month long event. and park there with the associated event.

5). buy a fixer upper flip house property. yes it costs you money. but you get it back when you flip the house. lots of competition out there to do this house flipping. but if you have low costs yourself, you could be great cheap labor.

6). find abandon property in a town. thats available for the tax payment on it. if you are okay with spending $2000 a year for the taxes on some worthless piece of land that has city water, and town electricity why not buy it. some small town have this. if you have a truck, then you start doing small time demolition and salvage.

Buying a tax lean does not give you ANY property rights. You have to hold the lean and then foreclose on the property. Also most incorporated areas (town) have laws against a camper hook up for living. One needs a zoning variance.

What about just parking on your property. And doing demolition work. Yes would need to get a permit for the work. It would be foolish to say you are living in your van-RV. Rather you are doing work on your property. And parking your vehicle.

An sure there are a hundred regulations that try to prevent that.
