Michelle,
I wonder if a spray bottle of a vinegar solution to use in a rig for stank reduction like I use for doing dishes might work? ...I had no idea it would attract smells and neutralize them. I will try it....instead of chemical spray for post-toidy-use blasting....?
Bri

It should work. It doesn't really matter what you put it in. It still absorbs the odor and then the acid smell from the vinegar disappears with it. Very natural. Grandma used it too LOL In the article I showed they used bread!!

Hi Michelle, I just realized that the word vinegar in your post was a link....Haha....
Bri

Really? I'll put a arrow next time. But glad u saw it!!! post-toidy-use blasting? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found out baking soda works to end odors. I took an unopened box and punched a couple of holes on top so too much wouldn't come out at once. I sprinked it in smelly arears.

It seems to me that vinegar just over powers everything and smells really bad.
Just my opinion :)

Thats true Cedric but I learned how much to use and Not how much to use. I mix half water and vinegar to clean and once a month I use the bowl system and thats it!!! There are people who consider vinegar to smell like pee. If this is what you smell it won't be workable for you.

I use eucalyptus scented Odo-Ban from Walmart in my trailer. It smells weird when you first spray it, but soon settles into a very pleasant, very clean smell. It covers even dog odors and I have had people ask if my 7 year old trailer is new because it smells so nice.

vineger works for allot of stuff, odor killing one of them. vineger + bleach cleans and sanitizes water systems. vineger + ammonia window cleaner. vineger helps with hard water problems. freshens clothes in the wash. ammomia also kills odors and sanitizes. but it in itself has a strong odor. i use both and bleach for a variaty of things. just do not mix ammonia and bleach. do not do it. highdesertranger

I have been using a combination of frankincense and cinnamon oil for the past few weeks. This combo smells great and seems to do the trick of masking bad smells. picked them up at the natural food store. Cost is about 3 to 5 $ per bottle.

This is what I use to dispense my oil into ( pic below). I used the center cup holder ( that I never use) in the van engine cover, and added some beach sand and shells. Works pretty good.

I still have an odor around the drain in the floor (whoops)... was a little careless. Will give the baking soda or vinegar a go. Hope that eliminators the problem. I definitely learned a lesson. Would hate to have to rip the carpet out.

Found this at the store for about 3 dollars. This stuff really works and totally eliminated the problem. I would highly recommend this...
