So was thinking about updating my address for 911 service with my cellphone provider. Maybe make things faster in an emergency.
and found that its called REVERSE GEOCODE where you find an address based on a set of GPS coordinates. You never know where you might be for the night, but it sure would be good if you needed 911 service, or other service to find you based on an address.

Plus if you have an Android or Iphone smart phone there are aplications that will find the nearest address for you. Kind of handy to have. Assuming you do have cellphone connectivity.
The iphone app FIND ME @ by the author Mica Huynh seems to work well as long as you have data and gps functionality in your iphone.
