Sounds good all the parks are great. Those would be good for summer season alternatives.

But do remember the most popular of National Parks are not all that crowded except in summer when school is out. As full time nomads we have the ability to visit all the rest of the year when they are open. For instance the Grand Canyon is always open and is very nice to visit in September and early October after the crowds are gone.
