How are things around Ehrenberg for ATV's? I plan on bringing mine with me.

Rob

This is a very popular spot for ATVs on the weekend - looks like some awesome riding all over.

I think down by the river and the sandbowl is gonna be the fun spot for atvs, I saw a lot of people down there for that. Its a left right after the boss shop.

I am more interested in exploring than racing or flying over dunes. It's got a 5 gallon tank and good range. I'll be there first part of April. Baring jackknifes, high wind and other fun things.

There is a dune part, but further back in there appeared to be a lot of trails etc. Im in a van and stuck to the gravel myself but wished i could check em out.

You are welcome to ride mine for a day.

remember if your Off Highway Vehicle(OHV) is currently registered in another state you do NOT need AZ registration. highdesertranger

Thanks a lot HDR, I got my decal a couple of months ago and since you mentioned it I have cleaned house looking for it. Damn, no luck yet.

awww gunny... let your brain do the work, it knows where you put it.... tell it to find it and then don't be frustrated... don't we always find or see how to do something once we open our mouths to someone else? Humbling for me. ;)

That was 90+% of my experience back in my school days when a question or problem was evading solution in my head
I'd go to ask the teacher, who would ask what it was that was confusing me, I'd start explaining the source of my confusion, and partway through say 'Oh, never mind, I see it now'
I do my best 'lookin fer' by sitting down and questioning myself

Going to be there in a couple weeks, hope to meet up with some of you.

Where can you buy 1lb propane bottles nearby?  The kmart?

Ace hardware had them for a few dollars cheaper 2 weeks ago, they were six something.

Ace carries in stock both the 1 gallon and 2 1/2 gallon tanks as well as the adapter hose. They are expensive, but will quickly pay for themselves.

It takes 4 of those green bottles to be a gallon so you are paying $24 a gallon for propane $6 X 4 = $24. You can refill a bulk bottle for $2 a gallon in Quartzsite.

After three refills the bottles are free and you save lots of money forever.

The 1 gallon bottle is so small nearly everyone can find room for it.

I went ahead and bought the dohicky for filling the green ones off the bigger tank, seemed like the cheapest way to go for now. I like the portability of the greenies.

There are I believe small bottles made for refilling that were discussed in Heating forum that looked to be a better solution as the small ones seem to leak or give me some type of problem eventually. Also had some better sealing caps.

Gunny... yet? Each night before you go to bed, tell your brain to tell you where that decal is! It works on whatever you "feed" it last.. hopefully if it comes in a dream you'll recall it :D

No luck yet, hopefully I didn't mix it with the trash and toss it. I can get another if I have to.
