It looks really nice but I don't know much about the 2002 engines and such.

One area of concern to me would be the rear overhang...do you do a lot of offroad boondocking where you might bottom out with that?

yeah not good for boondocking except on the best roads, but then is that really boondocking.

anyhow where is the main bed?

You don't list the milage unless I missed it. It maybe a great buy or a money pit. Spend a couple hundred before you buy & have a diesel mechanic go over it.

Thank you for mentioning that IGBT, it does look very low and boondocking is what I'll be doing so, it may not be a good vehicle for that.

I do presently drive a Toyota Highlander and have been contemplating whether to keep it or not due to it not being as high as larger SUV and I've potentially been thinking about pulling a small trailer possibly...so I'm in the beginning stages of trying to figure out what vehicle is going to best suit me...Van/Car/Camper. :) and the pro's and con's of each. been

Hi Highdesertranger,

It's too bad they didn't take pic of one of the seating areas was transformed into the bed to better gauge the room and length...and as both you and "IG" stated...boondocking may be an issue with this rig and I do plan on boondocking. Thanks for your response!

Looks like an old emergency command post or government rig. Those usually sit in storage more than they get used. Nice size though... Also wondering what the bed arrangement looks like.

Thanks Gr8ful! Forgot to list mileage at 29,000 and I emailed the person about the beds to figure out if I'd fit...haha...and taking it to a mechanic would be a great idea...wondering what kind of gas milage it gets.

It only has 29,000 miles on it...also waiting for more info on bed. Thanks for the info on possible old emergency command post...very cool.

Looks good, the lights on both sides and rear make me wonder if it was som sort of emergency vehicle in a former life?
2 entry doors to house (side and rear) is also kinda unusual.

The gentleman who is selling this said it would be very easy to use the closet space by the screen door to put in a full size bed and that this vehicle use to be a Red Cross Command Center and like you said...would explain the only 29,000 miles on it. It gets only about 10-12 mpg so that's an issue for me but he bought as a dealer and got a great price and said he could put a higher price but that he's getting rid of it due to health issues with himself and that his wife is afraid to drive it.

Anyone interested in this vehicle I found it on Craig's List in Connecticut!! It's out of my price range but will definitely make a great vehicle for someone!!
