Blind spot mirrors .. that's a great idea.

QR, your post reminds me of a song called "Texas" by Chris Rea.
Ever hear it?

Yesterday a pickup truck in front of me apparently missed his highway exit.

He flew across 2 lanes of traffic, crossed in front of an 18 wheeler by inches,
missed the entrance ramp and bumped up over the grass
landing right in front of another car on the ramp.
All this at 70 mph ...

Unbelievable.
I hope it was important.

We are wandering dangerously off subject here.

I might go test drive that 2014  Savanna tomorrow.
Not that I can afford it.
Just want to see what an extended feels like.
Let me rephrase that ...

I don't think so. With a van, you are in a very different situation than with a car or even a pickup truck where you have a large window 12" behind your head. You are much more in the same situation as all those delivery trucks you see everywhere. Big and slow and always in your way, except you are now the one in the truck. And all those little cars are just zipping around you.

So, I'm just saying it's what you have to deal with. It's much more fun on the open road than in the city. That's all on this subject. So, go find your van, :).

If anyone on here comes across a great deal on a van for sale that is located in the North Texas/Oklahoma/Arkansas area, feel free to PM me a link.

I'm looking for a Chevy or GMC with side barn doors and glass in side and back windows.
3/4 ton and up.  Extended is good. Low miles, low price.

Thanks for keeping an eye out for me.
