12 volt Swamp Cooler ( Evaporative cooler)

a note on the material used.  the more porous it is the better.  the easier it passes air the better.  cheese cloth would be excellent.  just a thought.  highdesertranger

Someone suggested the material that is used in normal residential swamp coolers.  Makes sense, but may not be easy to get for everyone.  That made me wonder about the material inside of those large square filters for residential central air conditioning units?
