There is a flee market next to my house, and i nabbed this for 10 bucks. Its a little old, and the connections leak a little (i think its fixable..), but its 10 bucks. Its the old thick metal kind. I plan to use a propane one for vandwelling but i always wanted a gas one for back up.

I never snag anything interesting at flea markets, so let me brag a little He even threw in an old rusty gas can for free (that ill never use to hold anything I care about...)

Awesome!
I have one of those and another that looks identical though it is propane, original propane made by Coleman.

Hey, i figure even if it stops working i can scrap it for my money back, it weighs a good bit in steel

I luv those old Coleman white gas stoves. Can get 'em used cheaper 'n dirt. Fill 'er up with unleaded (don't have to be high octane either), and off ya go! ..Willy.

I will try. Its just a small amount while its actually running.

Nice find! I prefer the propane ones, but I understand having a backup. I have a pyromid multi fuel folding grill, a single burner propane, a micro Max backpack stove and a good old fashioned flint and steel for campfire. Uggg, grunt, fire. Fire good. ;0)
