    Digi-Key Workamper

Anyone else here a Digi-Key workamper? Bob's got a new video up talking about it and it's run by the same company that hires for the beet harvest. I signed up for it but haven't got hired just yet. I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with it. RV S.W.A.T. on YouTube likes it.

considering a private business venture outfitting, Vans, RVs, and trailers..

Yeah the second pic is from the internet but it's giving me some inspiration. Any questions about how I plan to finish mine I'd be glad to answer.

This pic is not mine but it's close to what the finished look will be. I also have plans for a more traditional teardrop trailer.

This is the most recent pic of our build. We're almost done with the interior and then I'll start running the electric. This one will have a galley in the back but I have plans for a similar one with all the bells and whistles.

A buddy and I just happen to be looking into a business like this. We are currently in the middle of building a "squaredrop" trailer and hope to have it finished by June and will likely sell it. If someone wants or is in need of someone to custom outfit a van/vehicle you can contact me privately...

    Starting from scratch

I left to backpack/hitchhike across country when I was 19. I would not do it again. When you're on foot it's very difficult to move from a bad area to better one and people treat you differently when you're a dirty sweaty guy (me) on foot. You don't get a lot of respect, or at least I didn't...

    Dispersed Camping Project

I'm pretty good with the various maps after doing SAR for a lot years and spent more hours than I can count planning and scouting areas online and on foot. I also taught navigation during that time too. I am more than willing to help anyone asks. Thanks.

    Dispersed Camping Project

I’m in the Midwest and I’ll probably continue to play around with with the NF that are near me so I can get an idea of how it could work. I know it’s an imperfect system but I thought it could be a little help for someone. I still love maps so I’ll probably end of with a large amount data stored...

Ok this is the input I was asking for. I’ll just keep my mapping activities to myself.

    Dispersed Camping Project

I love maps and I'm pretty good at reading the different types and navigating. I'll also love to find remote places to camp. Because I'm still a nomad wannabe, I spend a lot of time just looking at maps trying to find good dispersed camps in different areas. Freecampsites.net is a good resource...

Ideas Needed to Build Adult Swing Structure

Would a hammock suffice? If you hung one with a little more dip than normal might enable a little bit more swing. If you had a roof rack on your vehicle and trailer you could hand the hammock in between and then always have something to tie off to if the hanging of a hammock wasn't allowed from...

Bob moving into Capri truck camper?

My idea is for a popup but fully and not just a tilt like these. It would have canvas sides so it wouldn't likely be as well insulated but I have an idea to help with that too. Now that I have a local fabricator I can use, if I used aluminum framing I think I could get the weight low enough to...

Bob moving into Capri truck camper?

https://capricamper.com/ These are really neat and lightweight. A buddy and I have started building teardrops/squaredrop trailers for sale and I've been throwing around the idea to build truck campers as well but was concerned about being able to keep them lightweight enough. The idea was to be...

    Kratom on the road

It's called "A Leaf of Faith" but I just did a search and it no longer shows up on Netflix but you can rent it on Prime.

    Kratom on the road

I've tried the red for migraines and although I didn't notice any real pain relief I did have a feeling of I don't care. I probably walked around with a smile on my face for awhile. Kind of like a mild high without the drowsiness of pot. I'd try it again as it's being sold locally now and I...

    RV Blogging

If you need help with a site then let me know. I can build, host, and maintain simple but nice looking sites in html or Wordpress for a lot less than you might think and it can be negotiated.

    overlanders

I have a whole list of mods beyond what you see in the pic (that's not my pic btw). This likely won't be my only build either.

    overlanders

Similar to this. Based on a teardrop design but squared instead. I hope to start building the frame in a couple of weeks.
