I'm going to have them cut to...

    RTR Question

Thanks everyone! I'm going to do my best to show up at least a couple days early. To be more specific about what I need done: as of now I'm an empty slate. I'm going to attempt putting my plywood floor in tomorrow(wish me luck) I want to insulate & at least have the paneling up before I leave. I...

    Butyl tape question:

The wax did not work! I used some spray foam insulation & that seemed to slow it way down. I applied more lap sealant today in hopes that it will do the trick. I need it to be water tight so that I can finish my build enough to get out of here in time for the RTR in January.

    RTR Question

I hate to sound desperate but I'm currently beginning my van build but I need to get out of my living situation before I lose my insanity! I'd like to make it to the RTR but I won't be finished by then. If I show up with the stuff I want to put into it, would there be help available to get it...

    Door seals

Well, I received the door seals that I ordered from Car Id. I was told by the person I talked to that they were the kind with adhesive back but they would fit. I put the 1st set on & the doors would hardly shut! I figured "At least they shut." But I did not install the other set because I wanted...

    Butyl tape question:

I did fix it, however while cleaning up the window the 2 plastic plug things(the other side has the plugs but they must not have been in the sun as much because the didn't fall apart) fell apart so the darn thing was leaking a little but I can't have that so I tried to figure out a way to plug...

I called to talk to all the links you all sent me but nobody has them for a 1977!! I'm beginning to think I'm going to have to just buy the after markets ones & make those work!

Help! I have holes! How do I fix them?

How about rattle trap? For sound barrier? Is that necessary or is the plywood good enough sound barrier?

    Door seals

Help! I have holes! How do I fix them?

This is a very helpful explanation! I haven't decided if I will build my own cabinetry or buy & alter to fit. Did you put insulation down before the plywood?

Help! I have holes! How do I fix them?

I had decided to make an appointment with a welder to have him weld the holes. He said he could do it & it would cost me anywhere from $70-140 dollars but after reading this and finding out I need 4 new door seals I think I'm going to fix the holes myself. I have some J.B. weld, some sheet...

    Door seals

Is the above quote for just 1? So I need to buy 4 because its for 4 separate doors, right? So its going to cost me $200+ but at least its going to have good seals! Right?
