    New solo female..

Welcome, and congrats on continuing on with your plan. I'm sure you've already discovered cheaprvliving on YouTube but if not get there fast. Amazing resource. I did several YouTube searches for cheaprvliving and added the key words "work," job, earn, etc., and several videos came up. There are...

    Insulating Without Insulation For Heat

Thank you for the helpful info. Thanks to reading and watching Bob, I actually understand how this works.  I put some Mylar in my Amazon wish list for the day I do my van build - it may be a while so didn't want to forget this great hint.

Just joined the community. Looking for Info.

I'm hoping to be at my first RTR in January 2018 - and hoping there will actually be one. Seems a little up in the air right now. I'm interested in a van conversion and would be thrilled to find a carpenter like you. I'll keep track of your posts to keep in touch.

As a newbie I just stumbled on to this thread.  Are any of you on YouTube or have a website with pics of your escapades?  Hmmmmm . . . may need to be prepared for the RTR.

    RTR

I rented a 19' Cruiseamerica RV which was great, but the steps into the rig were so high (1st step 13") that even with a step stool I had trouble getting in/out (bad knees) and my 13 year old lab actually injured her leg and I had to cut the trip short and get her to our vet.  Cruiseamerica was...

    RTR

Thank you for the advice. Yes, maybe a van. I thought of the Prius because I'm so focused on air conditioning, but that won't be an issue in January.

    RTR

I'm planning to attend the 2018 RTR as my first step (actually my second - my first efforts in April were not too successful).   I will most likely be in a rented RV of some sort.  I'm even considering renting a Toyota Prius.  Bob has noted several times that the winds can be rough. Do I need to...

Hello.  This is my first time here, and soon I will have my first solo rving experience which may lead to full time.  I've been doing lots of research and gained lots of knowledge (tho probably about 1 percent of what I will need) - so thank you to all you ever-so-helpful rvers.  I came up with...
